Tomomi Kudo began her singing career by singing the theme song "Namida no Umi" for the second "Keitai Keiji" series and continues to release music on a somewhat steady basis, juggling both her acting and singing careers. In celebration of her 19th birthday on May 13th, 2006, Kurokawa held her first birthday live event. In April 2006 Tomomi Kudo began hosting her own radio program, "Kurokawa Mei no Rajitomo", with Nippon Cultural Broadcasting.
